With our team on the cusp of surpassing 200 Qredsters, we are now looking for a CMO to help lead the next chapter in our growth journey.
The role
Today’s marketing paradigm is as much about analytics and engineering as it is about positioning and messaging: the challenge is to integrate these forces effectively. As CMO, your task will be to drive ‘bang for the buck’ from ad- and brand-spend within an articulated marketing strategy, with focus on online, affiliates, SEO, and partners - across all of Qred’s geographic markets and products. To succeed requires a deep understanding of customer value creation, comfort, and agility in adjusting return targets, CAC, target audience, or other goals to reach efficient spend and growth. We don’t rely on hard marketing budgets - if you can show value is created at a healthy return, we’re inclined to invest more.
You will report to the CEO, be part of Qred’s senior management team, and be expected to influence the company’s strategy, goals, and key priorities. Eventually, we need you to contribute to our vision and value proposition, which will require gaining an understanding of our customers and the value drivers of our business.
Responsibilities
Tell our story: Qred exists to power entrepreneurs.
- Be accountable for a SEK +150m marketing investment, requiring you to:
Define and present a marketing strategy,
Define marketing performance metrics,
Optimize marketing efficiency across channels, and
Decide on balance between strategic and tactical marketing.
Lead our marketing team composed of a dozen professionals across 6 markets. We are open to WFH, but expect you to have a strong presence in our Stockholm office to create a performance-driven culture.
- You will also be responsible for customer lifecycle management, including
Maximizing expected CLV / CAC,
Marketing automation for increased conversion and retention,
Driving customer engagement to reduce churn.
Qualifications
We expect that our next CMO will have an e-commerce digital background to drive growth, retention, and value creation. You have led larger campaigns, and know how to measure and optimize the funnel toward better conversion and LTV, all while holding CPA in check. Furthermore, we hope you will have:
Solid experience running PPC, affiliate, social, SEO, and all else related to digital marketing.
Experience from working in “high volume/low price point” industries, by contrast to “low volume/high price point”.
Accountability for running larger marketing budgets.
Have a proven track record of leading a successful team of marketers in a fast-growing organization.

Comfortable representing the company to external stakeholders and to the board as required.
