Ok, sounds cool but what about the role?
In this role you will be performing Marketing, Growth and Acquisition specific analysis. You will be asked questions such as: What is the most optimal channel mix? What is the value of a returning customer? Can we predict if we will meet our quarterly target? How should we interpret the results of this experiment? Was this a successful campaign?
Amongst other things, you will identify and develop relevant KPIs, put together performance reports, conduct deep-dive analysis and segmentation studies, evaluate marketing investments, measure ROI etc. The role will require a mix of operational and strategic skills combined with a large portion of drive, proactiveness and entrepreneurial spirit. You will directly contribute to accurate measurement and improve marketing results.
Even though you will be a part of the Marketing department, reporting to the CMO, you will work closely with our fantastic team of Data Scientists & Data Engineers. There are big opportunities for you to shape how we track, define and build our data infrastructure.
Sounds like a good way of working right? Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
You build effective dashboards that integrate data, processes and viewpoints to show what happened, why it happened and what could happen with the right remedial action.
Develop analytics methodologies like A/B and incrementality tests
Develop performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Work with marketing teams to optimize campaign performance
Develop an attribution model so that we can spend our resources more efficiently.
Assist in creating a global, standardized Tracking Plan ensuring we collect data across channels, platforms, and tools in a consistent format.
Act as a stakeholder to support the evolution of MarTech stack, tool selection and potential integrations.
2+ years of experience in a similar role
Basic knowledge of statistics
SQL proficiency (Our CEO writes SQL, so we are a geeky bunch)
Experience working with visualization and reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, QuickSight)
Fluent in Python or R
Understanding of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
Experience monitoring and analyzing important business metrics like leads, CLV, engagement, conversion rate, retention and churn.
Experiences that makes you stand out from the rest:
Prior experience in SaaS, Finance or Tech
Data storytelling skills - mastering the art of presenting data with a contextual narrative.
Experience in A/B testing and statistical modeling
Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and channels (e.g., SEM, social media, display advertising)
