What is Qred?

Qred is a FinTech scale-up that offers fast, fair and convenient small business financing, helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses. The Nordic market leader now in our 5th year, we've expanded into the Netherlands, and recently announced plans to open operations in Brazil.

Being small business founders, we have a genuine passion for entrepreneurship – and we believe our customers feel that authenticity. Our customers are the driving force behind the economy, creating 4 out 5 jobs, and we feel great about our role and impact in what we do.

Today, 50+ professionals across soon-to-be 6 markets and 3 continents, Qred is growing with "rocket speed". With a disruptive and highly technical customer platform, Qred has taken market share from big banks, and we intend to open new markets in Northern Europe in the near future.

What will you do at Qred?

In this role you will be an integral member of the senior business leadership team, contributing to the development of the business strategy from a growth and people management perspective. You'll oversee our growth from 50+ dedicated Qredders to 100 or more in the next two years. You'll also work with our team and employer branding, helping our existing team in their career ambitions.  A summary of your main responsibilities includes:

  • Drive the development of Qred's broader HR Strategy and People plan, and oversee the acquisition of new talent, aligned with the broader business strategy and timeline.
  • Working closely with teams to develop, drive and implement the HR Strategy/People Plan, including: talent, succession planning, workforce planning and change management.
  • Act as an integral member of the business leadership team, building strong relationships with senior business leaders and other relevant stakeholders. Coach and challenge thinking in addition to development and execution of talent and culture initiatives to meet current and future business needs.
  • Act as a change agent - lead, support and contribute to change programmes, driving and championing the implementation of HR solutions within the supported business area, gaining acceptance from key stakeholders.Promote and articulate our initiatives to support and develop Qred’s culture, e.g. sporting activities and our charitable programs.


Who do we think you are?

Our teammates are our most important asset and the foundation for our success. Most likely, you are/have: 

  • A leader, an experienced people manager who  possesses excellent communication skills, and is positive and solution oriented
  • Ability to quickly establish trust and credibility
  • Experience of coaching and influencing business leaders, along with ability to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of an organisation
  • Experience of working in partnership with senior business leaders to identify, develop and retain talent, especially in technical roles/fields
  • Broad, excellent technical HR Knowledge
