What You’ll do at Qred

As an Engineering Manager at Qred, you work closely with a Product Manager in leading one of our 8 cross-functional teams with end-to-end responsibility from idea to scaleable and pleasurable products, its daily operations, running on reliable infrastructure with high security.

As we see it, an Engineering Manager with us has 3 focus areas:

The People: You are the responsible line manager of your team's engineers, empowering them to achieve personal and professional growth by distributing responsibilities and setting clear expectations. Also, you are a present & empathic leader, running biweekly 1on1s, and performance reviews.

Team deliveries: You share your engineering responsibilities with your engineers, and nurture autonomy within your team. You actively work with your team's way of working to achieve Continuous Deliveries and Continuous Improvements in line with the DevOps mindset. You help create a work environment where engineers can be successful in having end-to-end responsibilities for the products they build and evolve.

Technical implementation: You are constantly evaluating the implementations of your team’s products, identifying technical debts, future roadblocks and setting a technical strategy to keep a healthy state aligning with our architectural vision & principles. In support of you and the team, you have the CTO, Head of Engineering, and the whole Engineering Enabler Domain at your service, with insights of the typical competencies of solution architects, devops-, cloudops- and secops engineers.

What we are looking for:

• A broad fullstack experience with deep knowledge of NodeJS backend

• Proven experience in leading a team of developers with different competencies
