About the role

In this role, you'll be working full-stack and tackling technical challenges that directly impact our business and customers. You'll be a part of our Acquisition team, who sits within our Revenue Domain and is focused on the first parts of the customer journey. They are vital in or mission to get entrepreneurs the funding they need in the fastest, most reliable way possible. The team is well-structured and currently includes four developers, one UX Designer, one Tech Lead, and one Product Manager. 

• Own the Onboarding Flow: You will be instrumental in developing and optimizing our most critical customer entry point - the core onboarding and application flow.
• Performance and Scalability: This role is all about building a system that can handle high growth. You’ll be focused on scaling our services to handle rapidly increasing transaction volumes and integrating new data sources for instant credit decisions.
• End-to-End Responsibility: From initial idea to running the product in production, you and your team owns the whole process. You'll design the infrastructure-as-code (IaC), write the tests, deploy the service, and ensure high-quality observability.

This is what we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in writing, releasing, and maintaining web applications preferably with Node.js, React and AWS.
• You are comfortable with end-to-end ownership and take responsibility for your contributions. You are pragmatic, hands-on, and always seek to keep it simple.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment where change is part of our DNA. You bring a flexible, positive mindset and a strong team spirit.
• You know that challenging the status quo is key, and you see failures as learning opportunities. You trust your colleagues and understand that we are stronger together. We believe in empowering small teams with great tools and clear principles.

What will make you stand out

• Familiarity with CloudFormation or CDK
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Circle-ci, GitHub actions or similar
• Experience with the fintech industry
