Q: Hej Jason! What is your role at Qred? A: Vice CEO and Head of Customer Success.
Q: What does a vice CEO do? A: Oversee the daily activities for the customer team, and support the CEO with strategy, recruiting and financing.
Q: What is most enjoyable about your role? A: Making a difference for customers, collaborating with my team, and contributing to the development of our small but fast growing company.
Q: Tell us about your background. A: I come from a small business family that has operated a restaurant for 3 generations. I've always dreamed of working as an entrepreneur and find it to be fulfilling to help our customers and support them as they realise their own dreams.
Q: What sets Qred apart from other companies? A: Well we are founder-owned, and do not have any venture capital, media companies, or banks owning us. We also make our own loans - we are not a broker. So we feel our incentives are aligned with our customers. Everyone in our team has a strong and genuine interest in start-ups and is striving to realise our ambition of coming Northern Europe's largest Fintech provider of micro-enterprise financing.
Q: What's a typical day at the office like for you? A: About half my time is spent with my team and customers, and the other half on questions of broader business development.
Q: What's the most enjoyable part about Qred for you? A: The daily interaction with customers and my team.
Q: What is most rewarding with your work? A: Incremental development and feedback every day.
Q: What do you think is behind Qred's success so far? A: We've been really focused on keeping customers and their needs at the center, and developing systems and processes that address those preferences.
Q: Last question, do you have any tips, quotations or mottos to share? A: Focus on what you can achieve today, and don't get too far ahead of yourself. “Tomorrow will worry about itself”. Each and every day has its own possibilities and challenges.
