What you will do

You will take a lead role in ensuring Qred’s financial foundation stays strong as we grow. Most days, that means owning and improving our core financial reporting processes by making sure numbers are accurate, deadlines are met, and assure reports that our decision-makers can trust.

You will work hands-on with monthly and quarterly closings, reconcile accounts, prepare statutory reports, and support external audits. You’ll help make sure our accounting meets IFRS standards and regulatory requirements, while also finding smarter, more efficient ways of getting things done. You will collaborate with Treasury, Business Control, and Data Platform to strengthen data quality, drive automation, and turn raw data into reliable insights. And when something changes in the regulatory or reporting landscape, you’ll be the one leading the way forward.

Who you are

This is a role for someone who’s structured and analytical, but also curious and forward-thinking!

You have around 3+ years of experience in audit or controlling, ideally from a financial institution, a high-growth fintech, or a consultancy. You’re confident with IFRS and familiar with IFRS 9 or 13, and you have a good grasp of banking reporting requirements.

You’re detail-oriented but never lose sight of the bigger picture. You’re analytical, proactive, and known for your ability to get things done on time and with quality. You communicate clearly, work well with others, and find energy in solving complex problems.

Fluency in both Swedish and English is essential, as is strong Excel proficiency. Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Quicksight is a definite plus.
