With bold growth plans and strong momentum across multiple markets, we’re now looking for an experienced CHRO to lead our People & HR function through the next phase.
About the role
Our long-term ambition is clear: to become the world’s number one bank for small businesses. To support the next phase of our journey, we are looking for a strategic and business-driven CHRO who will shape and lead the people agenda at the highest level of the company.
In this role, you will work in close partnership with our co-founder/CEO and executive team, playing a central role in how Qred evolves as an organization. You will be expected to actively contribute to key business decisions and translate company strategy into a clear, forward-looking people strategy that enables Qred’s continued growth and development.
You will own and drive the full people agenda end-to-end. From leadership and talent strategy to culture, organizational effectiveness, and scalable HR operations. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy as navigating complex people topics across the business.
Together with our ambitious HR team, you will continue building modern, data-driven, and business-oriented HR practices.
You will:
Define and execute Qred’s overall people and HR strategy in close alignment with business priorities
Strengthen leadership capability, performance culture, and talent density across the organization
Lead culture, engagement, and change initiatives that support growth, international expansion, and organizational development
Ensure scalable, compliant, and business-focused HR practices in a regulated financial environment
Develop strong people analytics, KPIs, and decision support for the leadership team
Lead and develop our HR team of five - two HR Generalists (including part-time payroll), two Talent Acquisition Partners, and one Office & Event Manager
Qred is still a relatively lean organization (currently around 250 employees), which means the role naturally spans from strategic leadership to hands-on problem solving. We believe the right person thrives in this environment - someone who enjoys operating both at the executive level and close to the business.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a senior HR leader who combines business mindset, analytical sharpness, and strong people judgment. You’re comfortable operating at executive level while staying close to reality in the organization.
You’ll bring:
10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a tech organization
Proven track record of leading high-performing HR teams
Strong experience in change management, culture and leadership development
Hands-on work with performance management
Experience driving talent acquisition strategy and workforce planning
Deep expertise in complex organizational design, including significant scaling-up, M&A, and integration project
A strategic but hands-on working style
A data-driven and business-oriented approach
Good knowledge of Swedish labour law and preferably union dialogue
Fluent English and Swedish, written and spoken
Experience in regulated businesses, Comp & Ben, L&D, payroll, AI-enabled HR processes, DE&I, and governance work is considered a plus.
