As we scale, we are now looking for an Underwriting Team Lead to be part of our journey to transform the financial landscape for entrepreneurs in our Swedish market.

What you'll do

As Underwriting Team Lead, you’ll be an essential part of Qred’s mission to fuel small businesses with smarter financial solutions. Your role is all about ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. You’ll lead efforts in new business development, setting the pace for sustainable growth, and continuously improving the quality of our customer communication routines.

You’ll act as the bridge between credit operations, brokers, partners, and your team, fostering smooth collaboration and a shared commitment to success. By diving into operational underwriting with your team, you’ll help us grow profitably while balancing risk and reward in close alignment with the collections department. With a focus on performance, you’ll report key metrics directly to the Country Manager, ensuring we stay on track toward our goals.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both Swedish and English (spoken and written)

• Experience in customer service, from telephone, chat and/or email

• Previous experience managing people

• Preferably previous experience in financial services and/or post-high school education in economics
